Laundry Days

Yesterday I spent most of the day catching up on laundry as my family was up for the weekend. We had a great time and as you can see below I was quite the whiz at badminton. Yes, that is the birdie flying over my head. Don't you love my graceful stance?

My daughter is much more graceful than me and obviously gets her badminton skills from her father..........as he so kindly likes to point out.

Hope to be back in the studio this afternoon.

Wonderful post! And just the slice of life type of post I need right now as I make the blog rounds after being away. You all look like you belong out there, misses, hits and all. Ah, summer. Over far too fast.

Melody, I'm glad your summer has gone so well - that vacation looks just great. I truly enjoyed being your "tablemate" at QBL and could have used you encouragement yesterday. I decided to finish up a Carol Shinne "exercies" to bring to my guild meeting just to prove I was at QBL this summer. And with another several layers of thread it might be considered done. How I envy Carol's work!

Andrea...welcome back! Can't wait to catch up on how your show went.

Joan.. so good to hear from you. I also enjoyed being your tablemate. How did the Carol Shinn exercise finish up? Was your guild in awe over your expertise? Keep in touch it was so good to hear from you.

You have the perfect yard for badminton (or should I use Andrea's original term, "shuttlecock?"). Glad you're finding ways to enjoy these last lazy days of summer holidays.
